Our biodegradable glitter complies with the European regulation: Regulation (EU) 2023/2055. Derived from plants instead of plastics, and depending on the colour, they are mainly composed of corn starch, whose scientific name is polylactic acid (PLA) or eucalyptus cellulose.

They are perfectly biodegradable in water, but this does not mean that a tattoo will last less on the skin because it lasts the same and shines the same. These glitters are aluminium free, so they can be used on the lips as well.
